In “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” Capital Classics will bring its spirited, raucous performance style to this rambunctious comedy of love, as a cast of characters stumble and bumble its way in pursuit of love with true Shakespearean silliness and joy.
The Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival performance of Love's Labour's Lost begins at 7:30 PM. Friday, July 21 pre-show entertainment begins at 7:00 PM and will feature The Elizabethan Consort, who bring their special brand of song and fun to our audience each year. A festival favorite that is not to be missed!
- Be sure to visit the wonderful Art Gallery at USJ — for free — before each performance and during intermission!
- You can purchase fresh-made mozzarella & tomato salad, hummus & vegetables, cheese & crackers, and strawberries & chocolate or bring your own picnic!
- Audience members should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
- In case of rain, performances will be held inside the adjacent Hoffman Auditorium.
