In “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” Capital Classics will bring its spirited, raucous performance style to this rambunctious comedy of love, as a cast of characters stumble and bumble its way in pursuit of love with true Shakespearean silliness and joy.

The Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival performance of Love's Labour's Lost begins at 7:30 PM.  Sunday, July 23 pre-show entertainment begins at 5:00 PM and will feature a lecture about Love's Labour's Lost by Milla Riggio, Ph.D., the James J. Goodwin Professor of English at Hartford's Trinity College.

  • Be sure to visit the wonderful Art Gallery at USJ — for free — before each performance and during intermission!
  • You can purchase fresh-made mozzarella & tomato salad, hummus & vegetables, cheese & crackers, and strawberries & chocolate or bring your own picnic!
  • Beat the Sunday afternoon heat with frozen yogurt concoctions from TCBY in Bloomfield on sale!
  • Audience members should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
  • In case of rain, performances will be held inside the adjacent Hoffman Auditorium.

Tickets: $15 for adults, $10 for students/seniors. Available at the door or at the Frances Driscoll Box office, (860) 231-5555 or here.
